Random Entry 29/04/2008 - How to download animes/files from IRC?

Hi, Miyuki here. This time I'll mention about how to download files by using IRC. So your torrent failed to download your animes, or your torrent is shaped by your ISP [like me, too...lol]...and you still want to download your animes without waiting seeds or torrenting and wait.

This time, I'll mention on how to download a file by using IRC [providing you know the channel name and also the server name].

Noticed that some fansubs have their own #irc channel? Rizon.net or irchighway.net? They even have bots serving in the channel to let you "leech" from them if torrent hates you, lol.

I'll guide you step-by-step on how to get the file, just follow the pictures below and you should be fine ^_^.

Random Entry - 28-04-2008 - New staff coming in, but more workload o_O?

So today my boss mentioned that he just recently hired new staff into the company, and *cough, I'll be his?her? senior :x

Not sure if is a he or she, since I never meet the new staff before. If it's a he, then I'll make him my slave. If it's a she, I'll make her my slave, too. Lol.../whips /whips.

Ok, new staff means, I need to teach the new staff basics of our company; as my boss mentioned it to me this morning :s ... and plus, my boss wanted me to get involved in other fields as well, such as marketing and also communications...so this means, from now on, I'll meet a lot, HELL lot of those clients, marketing stuff and deals with them @_@...

mmm...about pay, I hope my boss will consider on this part, too @_@...

Anyway, /evil intention will starts tomorrow or soon >:3...I hope the new staff will be prepared XD.

Random Entry 24/04/2008 - Trickster Online

Today ntreev just released patch 2.16.4, which the main feature this time is the long awaited Chaos Tower.

GM have said that this Chaos Tower won't be easy as previous dungeon or other area...and it will proves challenging even to high leveled players.

Ok, so what's interesting about this chaos Tower anyway...

Ok, now I'll need to find the entrance to this Chaos Tower, and according to the info, the portal to the Chaos Tower is guarded by ...Don Giuvanni??? Oh well, its not surprising either, as he's a collector freak...so yeah :x. Think any level can go in? Nope, only a character at least level 160 can go in, else, he/she can work hard to reach the level requirement.

Since I'm level 200, so, it wouldn't be a problem anyway.

Now to meet Don Giuvanni @ Coral Beach...ah...why must be Coral Beach o_o.../mmm.....

Oh hi there, Don...

So, after Don have let you pass to enter the Chaos Tower, you'll be teleported to a dark spacy area o_o.

Er...am I at space o_o?

Ok, after you've entered the Chaos Tower, you can talk to Mirabo Watty for more details of the Chaos Tower itself, and also you can re-pots your portions at item girl.

Oh, before you enter the portal, make sure you bring your self an Elixir potion. Why? Eclipse will requires one later.

And buy Elixir potions from her.

Ok, once you've entered the portal, you'll see Officer Terra, Eclipse, Bunny Maid and also Hunter Yuri.

The real challenge starts here, to begin the challenge, you'll need talk to Hunter Yuri and start the monster quest.

Can I touch your tail o_o?

Once you've activated the quest, just head over the Eclipse, select 'Enter the Battlefield', and she'll ask a elixir potion for entry.

From here, you'll need prepares yourself, to ownz, or to get owned.

Oh shii...its her...ITS HER!!!

Ok, there's different type of npc inside, such as chaotic, confused...and more...

Inside the tower.../shocks!!!

But...

But I got pwned instead T_T...lots of them hordes at me at once @_@

...T_T, even more dangerous is the 'Kamikaze weirdo pots'...they're summoned by the "King" and attempt to 'Kamikaze' at you...if you're unlucky...you'll get hit with at least 142k damage @_@...that means...instant death, lol...

I heard...only at least 4 people cleared stage 4...or was it stage 4???!!!

Anyway, besides that I've received 20 dolls [10 buffalo dolls, 10 bunny dolls] from the "GoodBye Louis" rewards. Lol...so what I need to do with these dolls on cramped room XD[I haven't tidy stuff up and added the room expansion yet]

Hmmm...what should I do with you guys...

Alright, I'll stop at her for now...and I want to try again on the Chaos Tower to see how far I can go @_@...and I also want to try the party quests too...it seems its not gonna be easy as previous party quest o_o...

[Random Entry - 17/04/2008] - Trickster Online Troubleshooting?!

Hi~Miyuki here again! Today I want to help out some Tricksters who have problem to start Trickster Online Revolution!

I noticed that some players have difficulty on starting Trickster Online Revolution, especially for players who have older computers which is like Pentium 4 1.7GHz/AMD Duron/XP processor with only 256MB ram, integrated graphics chipset or older graphics card, or any computers that almost similar to the configurations I mentioned.

Normally, they'll faces problems like Trickster will hang after characters selections, or hang after login screen [white screen syndrome]...

But no fear, I'm here to help out for Tricksters who have problem to start their game, just follow my guides and you''ll be fine ^_^

[Random Entry - 20/02/2008] - How to rip Audio CD in Lossless Format/FLAC?

For this tutorial, I'm using foobar2000 to rip the audio CD, other media players should able do the same thing, provided that you've installed the plugins.

What you'll need:-

1. Foobar2000, get it here:- http://www.foobar2000.org/foobar2000_0.9.5.1.exe
2. FLAC encoder, get it here:- http://downloads.sourceforge.net/flac/flac-1.2.1b.exe
3. AudioCD, get it...wait, its your own :x

Ok, lets begin...

 

• Install foobar, once you've downloaded it.

• Install FLAC, once you've downloaded it.

• Ok, now comes on how to encode it
• Get your AudioCD, or any.
• For my case, I'll use some random audio CD, in iso format [it's basically the same thing anyway, so I'll skip on how to mount it, since you'll just need DAEMON tools, ONLY if you're using image iso file]

• Once you've insert your Audio CD to drive, open Foobar
• Go to File-> Open Audio CD
• Select your player, and click on RIP button.

• A new window will pops up, click on RIP button.

• Select FLAC, Level 5 from the list.

• Then click the "..." button next to it to changes your settings.

• This is where you set the compression level and also the file sizes.
• Once you're done, click OK.

• Click OK to begin RIPping.

• If it asks for CommandLine encoder, please locate the FLAC command encoder.
• Normaly its located at C:\Program Files\FLAC as in default installations directory.
• Select your desired location to place your converted files.
• Click OK to continue.

• Audio ripping in progress...
• Speed of encoding are depending on your computer processor speed.

• The results.

• The files normally ranging from 20mb->50mb, depending on your song and also your settings.
• And also the bitrate:-

• Now you're done.

[Random Entry - 27/03/2008] - How to instantly starts Trickster Online client?

So, some people are just lazy to click on Launcher->GameStart button, or some people faces the client will auto "de-patch" again each time starts the launcher.

So here are how you can avoid it by creating a new shortcut. Click on the page numbers for more details!

• First, go to your Trickster Online directory [on where you've installed Trickster Online]

• Then, click on Tools->Folder Option to bring up Folder Option window.

• On the Folder Option, click on View.
• Find "Hide extensions of known file types", and untick it.
• Click on OK.

• Then, find "Trickster.bin".
• Right-click and select Copy.
• Then right-click on empty space at your Trickster Online folder and click on Paste.
• The new files should looks like this:-

• Then Right-click on the file, select Rename on the drop down menu.

• Rename it to Trickster.exe and press Enter.
• It should looks like this after you pressed Enter:-

• Now you can just run Trickster by launching that file.
• After you've done, please reset the Folder Option back to default.

Final notes: Makesure you've patched Trickster Online to latest patch before you do create the shortcut.
